To improve the characteristics of the safety system components, they are covered with different coatings according to the function of the product and the needed requirements.
Two different types of coating are used in Norma – zinc and nickel- chromium. On the acidic zinc-coating line it is possible to cover small components to increase their corrosion resistance. Approximately 1440 tons of products are coated with zinc in a year in Norma.
The products coated on the nickel-chromium line also have aesthetically beautiful appearance in addition to better corrosion resistance. The annual capacity of the line is about 50 million components.
