Norma’s plastic casting section casts both fully plastic as well as non-molded parts, ie metal-containing products. For this we use both vertical manually chargeable devices as well as automated horizontal machines, in total we use 51 injection molding machines. The suppliers of the equipment are Arburg, Engel, Battenfeld and KraussMaffei.
In order to ensure the quality of production, control cameras have been introduced to several manual injection molding machines, and in the case of automatic devices, the quality of production is ensured by continuous monitoring of the critical parameters of the process. The main materials used in production are PP, PA6, PA66, POM, ABS, PE and PBT, and we pour about 700 tons of plastic per year.
